Stuart, Charles Edward
d. 1863
Charles Edward Stuart was born in Bristol, England. He was in charge of the Hudson's
Bay Company post at Nanaimo, where he also served as magistrate. Stuart established a post of his own at Uclulet
in 1860; he died in 1863.
