I am directed by the Earl of Malmesbury to request that you will acquaint Secretary Sir Edward Bulwer Lytton that, in compliance with the request contained in your letter of the 6th Instant, 1 Her Majesty's Consul at San Francisco, and the acting British Consul at Panamá, have been instructed to afford every assistance intheirManuscript image their power to Colonel Moody who is proceeding to British Columbia viâ Panamá.
