Despatch from London.
Carnarvon acknowledges a report on a nugget of Gold which had been recently found at Bridge River, and gives thanks for including an interesting specimen of the same nugget.

Sir,
I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch, No 136, of the 12th April last, containing further reports on the general state of British Columbia and forwarding for my inspection a nugget of Gold which had been recently found at Bridge River.
