Sir,
I transmit to you herewith copies of two letters which I have
received from the Board of Treasury on the subject of the Bills drawn by
you for the expenses of the Royal Engineers in BritishColumbia
Columbia and I have to request that you will furnish me with an explanation of the
discrepancy pointed out by the Lords Commissioners between the amount of
these Bills and of the requisitions made upon you by Colonel Moody on this account.
