Newcastle transmits a copy of a Treasury letter on paying Moody's salary.

Sir,
With reference to my despatch No 11 of the 6th of August, I transmit to you herewith the copy of a letter from the Treasury stating that they have directed the payment of Messrs Cox & Co of the Salary due to ColonelManuscript image Moody to the 31st March last.
I have to request that you will communicate this letter to Colonel Moody.
