matter is definitely settled for since addressing your Grace
on the
7 February last, I
have
have had fresh instances brought
to my notice of the inconvenience resulting from the present
state of uncertainty as to whether the claims of the Hudson's
Bay Company will be confirmed or not, and I have been obliged
to address a letter to the Agent at this place of the Hudson's
Bay Company requesting that the lands to which they
assert
assert a
claim may be distinctly marked out, so as to prevent confusion
and litigation which cannot otherwise be well avoided.
I forward for your Grace's information a Copy of that
letter, together with a copy of the reply received.
