Sir,
With reference to your Letter of the 3rd Instant, I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs Cox & Co on behalf of Col Moody RE, Commissioner of Lands in British Columbia, the sum of £300 being the amount due to him for Salary in respect of the Quarter to 31st December last.
