Hawes to Under-Secretary of State
I am directed by Mr Secretary Herbert, to acquaint
you that the sum of £111:7:8 for Medical Stores
supplied to the Colony [of] British Columbia referred to in your
letter of the 19th November last, does not appear to have
yet been credited to Army Votes by the Paymaster General.
This has now been paid & the Dft informing the War Office is in
circulation.
