With reference to my despatch No. 52 of the 19th Instant, I am directed by the Secretary of State to inclose for your information and guidance the accompanying copy of a letter from the Treasury explaining the steps that have been taken for complying with your application for a supply of coin for the use of British Columbia.
I am further to inform youManuscript imageyou that coin to the value of £6900 Sterling has been shipped on board H.M's ship "Tartar" which Vessel is understood to have sailed from Portsmouth on the 27th of this Month for Vancouver Island.
