Sir,
I have the honor of acknowledging the receipt of Your
Grace's Despatch No 77 of the 9th May last, enclosing a
memorandum from Mr Ffennell on the subject of the protection of the Salmon Fisheries ofBritish
British Columbia, and a subsequent correspondence with that gentleman.
