I am directed by Secretary Sir George C. Lewis to transmit herewith 3 copies of the charts of the World, and of the Stars, prepared by Colonel Sir Henry James, for the use of the Surveyor General of British Columbia, of W. Australia, of Mauritius and I am to request that you will move the Duke of Newcastle, should he see no objection, to cause them to be transmitted to the Officers adverted to,asManuscript image as presentation copies from the Secretary of State for War.
