We have the honor to transmit a certificate showing that Colonel RC Moody, RE, was alive & in the exercise of his duties as Chief Commissioner of Works for British Columbia on 1st October last & beg that the usual authority may issue to the Paymaster General's office for the payment of that officer's Salary for September 1/4 1862.
