I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Grace's Circular despatch of the 11th March last and with reference thereto to acquaint your Grace that no Book Almanack or Local Directory is at present published in British Columbia but I will take care so soon as such apublication publication is started that the instructions conveyed in the above Circular are carefully carried out.

2. The Directory published in Victoria, however, and which has been forwarded from the Colony of Vancouvers Island embodies a Directory for the sister Colony of British Columbia.
