The expenses specified on the other side hereof having been incurred by the Naval Department in Michaelmas Quarter 1864 for the services stated, I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, to request that you will move Mr Secretary Cardwell to cause repayment of the sum in question to be made to the credit of Naval Services, through Her Majesty's Paymaster-General who has been authorized to receive the same.
