With reference to your letter of the 26th of November last, enclosing copy of a Despatch from the Governor of British Columbia reporting the Method which will be pursued with regard to the Custody of Public Moneys & the management of the Accounts of the Colony, I am desired by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to state for the information of Mr Secretary Cardwell that the arrangements reported by the Governor appear to My Lords to be satisfactory.
