I have the honor to transmit to you, for your information, the enclosed copy of a correspondence with Mr. Trutch, from which you will perceive that I have extended his leave to the 15th of May, and that he reports a sale of his interest in the public Works of the Colony, which upon his producing to youManuscript image any evidence requisite to satisfy you of the completion of the transaction, will enable you to continue to take advantage of his services in an Office for which he has been described to posses valuable qualifications.
