Sir,
With reference to my Despatch No. 25 of the 23rd of May last, I
transmit to you herewith the Queen's Warrant for the appointment of Mr.
Robert Ker to be Auditor General for the Colony of British Columbia in
the room of ___________.
The Crown Agents for the Colonies have been instructed to pay to
Mr. Gordon Gairdner the Chief Clerk of my Office, the sum of thirty
Shillings being the price of the Stamp on the enclosed Warrant; and you
will call on Mr. Robert Ker to repay this amount into the Colonial
Treasury.
