Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 62
of the 22nd of May enclosing a copy of a Report on the Kootenay gold
District.
With reference to the statement in that Report respecting the death
of a Native of Londerburg and the property left by him, I have to
acquaint you that if you will remit to amount to the Crown Agents
