By the direction of the Governor and Committee of the Hudson's Bay Company I have the honour herewith to transmit for the information of the Earl of Carnarvon, copy of a letter to me from William F. Tolmie Esquire one of the Company's Agents at Victoria, Vancouver Island, together with copy of a correspondence which has lately taken place betweentheManuscript image the Honorable N.
