Sir,
I am desired by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that a Bill for £1,500 drawn by the Governor & Treasurer of Vancouver Island for Pay &c of Royal Marines on San Juan Island has been left at the Office of the Paymaster-General, and I am to request that you will move the Secretary of State to inform My Lords whether this Bill should be accepted and paid.
