With reference to Mr. Birch's despatch No. 62 of the 6th of October, I have the honor to transmit to you, for your information and guidance, a copy of a letter from the War Department, conveying the decision of Secretary Sir John PakingtonasManuscript image as to the disposal of the Arms and Accoutrements left in possession of your Government by Colonel Moody.
