Referring to your letter of the 26th instant may I request
you will be good enough to inform me whether the Crown Agents
are to forward the Books, therein referred to, to British
Columbia or to the Colonial Office.

Instruct the Crown Agents that if there are the means of sending
it safely as a parcel, it will be better to adopt that mode of
transmission than to incur the expense of sending these booksin in
the Govt bags to be charged for as if they were letters.
