Buckingham requests Seymour to convey to Needham acknowledgements for the services [rendered] to the Government of British Columbia during the disturbances in the Cariboo.

Sir,
I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 153, of the 29th November stating how much you are indebted to Mr. Needham for proceeding to the scene of the disturbances in Cariboo, and for bringing matters to a satisfactory conclusion.
