My Lord,
With reference to my despatch No. 136 of 21st December 1868,
announcing the opening of the Legislative Session, I have now
the honor to add that everythinghas
has progressed satisfactorily.
All the Bills in which I felt an interest have been passed and I
hope to be able to prorogue the Council on Saturday the 13th Instant.

Spring is well advanced and it is desirable that the Magistrates
should return to their respective Districts.

Bills through with Mr Hankin as Presiding Member.
