Sir,
With reference to a letter of the 13th July 1868 addressed to this Office by the Colonial Secretary at Vancouvers Island, copy of which is enclosed stating that he had returned two fountain Lamps for Fisguard Lighthouse and requesting that two Moderator Lamps might be sent out in lieu thereof I am directed by the Board of Trade to acquaint you for the information of Earl Granville that a case containing two moderator lamps has been delivered to the Crown Agents for transmission to the Colony, and to request that the same may be intimated to the Governor of Vancouvers Island.
I am at the same time to transmit a copy of a letter from Messrs Wilkins & Co upon the subject of fountain Lamps havingbeenManuscript image been sent out for Fisguard Lighthouse instead of Moderator Lamps.
