I have to acknowledge your letter of the 20th ult: relative to the Salary of the late Governor of British Columbia. I have not yet been able to find any mem: wh throws light on the arrangements made at the time that Mr Seymour undertook the Government of the Colony; but I will make furtherManuscript image search and will communicate to you the results.
