Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 45
of the 19th of March enclosing the ordinance "No. 3 of 1869 to
appropriate the sum of $419,335.50 out of the General Revenue of the
Colony for the contingent service of the year 1869."
