Sir,
I have the honor to enclose for your information a copy of a letter
from the Board of Treasury pointing out an error in the accounts of
receipt and expenditure up to the 31st of December 1868 for services in
connectionwith
with the Military occupation of San Juan Island transmitted
with Governor Seymour's Despatch No. 21 of the 20th of February last.

instruct you to have this error adjusted in the next account for this
