Sir,
I transmit to you for your information copies of a correspondence
between Mr. Barwise and this department on the subject of granting
assistance or privileges to an association which it is proposed to form

the purpose of developing the Salmon Fisheries in the Fraser and

your Government it must be considered whether a compliance with their
request would bring them into Collision with the Indians.
