My Lord,
I have the honor to report the Execution on the 15th instant of an Indian, at Nanaimo, known as "Jim," sentenced to death by the Supreme Court for the murder of a White Settler named James Hamilton. The Executive Council unanimously agreedwithManuscript image with me that there was no ground for interference with the sentence of the Court.
