Sir,
With reference to your Despatch of the 17th May and to my reply of the 9th July I have to inform you that the Flag selected for the Colony of British Columbia is only to be flown by the Governor when afloat, and that the UnionJackManuscript image Jack is still to be flown at Government House, and at Public buildings in the Colony.
