No. 36
31st March 1871
My Lord,
I have the honor to transmit with the Attorney General's Report the usual copies of two Acts passed by the Legislative Council entitled respectively—AnManuscript image An Act to repeal certain Acts, Ordinances and Proclamations.
and
An Act for compiling and printing a new Edition of the Laws of British Columbia.
2. The Attorney General's Report sufficiently explains the character and intention of these measures. The Commission by whom they were preparedwasManuscript image was composed of Mr Justice Crease the Attorney General, and Mr Alston the Registrar General of Titles, who is also an English barrister. An revised and expurgated Edition of the Laws actually in force has long been much wanted. And I strongly recommend these Acts for confirmation.
I have the honor to be,
My Lord,
Your most obedient
Humble Servant
A. Musgrave
