With reference to my Letter of the 20th Ultimo, I am directed by Earl Granville to transmit to you, for the information of the Earl of Kimberley, a copy of a Despatch from Her Majesty's Minister at Washington inclosing a copy of a Note he has addressed to Mr Secretary Fish respecting [remainder of letter not on microfilm].
