I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated the 15th
Instant informing me, by direction of the Duke of Newcastle, that Her
Majesty's Ship Trincomalee has been ordered to proceed to Vancouver and
Queen Charlotte's Islands, and I have to requestthat
