I had the honor of receiving, on the 16th of April last, your Grace's Despatch No. 3 of the 8th March 1853,
Sent 11 March/53.
in which you were pleased to communicate, that the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty had apprized your Grace, that Rear Admiral Moresby, had intimated his intention of sending two Ships of War to Vancouver's Island, a circumstance, which has relieved my mind from much anxiety.
