the employment of the Reverend Edward Cridge as Chaplain in Vancouvers Island,and confirms that he will submit the question of Cridge's renewed employment
to the decision of the Legislature.

1. I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch
No 73 of the 2nd of June last, transmitting to me the copy of
a letter from the

of the Reverend Edward Cridge as Chaplain in Vancouvers Island.
