I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you
the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 29th Ult: for
leaving to their operation three Acts passed in Vancouver's Island in
August 1858, Nos 4, 5, & 6; to amend the Law relating to Licensing
of Inns &c; Bill of Supply; & to amend the law relating to Inns &
Beer Houses; and I am to request that you will be pleased to lay the
same before the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department.
