Sir,
The Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty have submitted to my consideration the question of reserving coal, and TimberManuscript image for Government purposes in British Columbia and Vancouvers Island, and I transmit to your herewith, for your information the copy of a report which I have obtained from Her Majesty's Colonial Land and Emigration Commissioners upon it. I have intimated to the Admiralty my concurrence in the views expressed by the commissioners on this subject.
