With reference to your despatch No. 52 of the
5 November last,
I have to acquaint you that The
Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty
have informed me that it is their wish that the Ground, Buildings &c,
at
Esquimalt, purchased for the North American Boundary Commission
should, when no longer required
forfor the use of the surveying party
under
Colonel Hawkins, be transferred to their Lordships for Naval purposes, and I have to instruct you,
in compliance with their
Lordships desire, to transfer this property accordingly.
