With reference to Your Grace's Despatch No 56 of the 5th of May
1861, conveying the approvalof
of the Queen for the appointment, of
Messrs Donald Fraser, David Cameron, and Alfred John Langley to the
Legislative Council of Vancouver Island, I have to inform Your Grace
that three Warrants under the Royal Sign Manual transmitted with Your
Graces Despatch of the 29th of May last, (Separate), authorisingme
me
to appoint those gentlemen to Seats in the Council of Vancouver Island, have been received.
