As I learn that Mr Andoe of the Audit Office has been appointed to examine on behalf of the Government the accounts of the Hudson's Bay Company in connection with the Government of Vancouvers Island, I enclose a letter of explanation and instruction which if it meets the sanction of the Duke of Newcastle I wouldsuggestManuscript image suggest may be sent to Mr Andoe for his information and guidance.
