I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 1st inst, leaving to their operation 7 Acts passed in the Island of Vancouver in May and July, 1862, Nos 54 to 60; and I am to request that you will be pleased to lay the same before the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department.
