HBC governor Berens continues to press Newcastle for information concerning the payment to be made to this Company in respect of their outlay in Vancouvers Island.

I regret to trouble your Grace again on the subject of the payment to be made to this Company in respect of their outlay in Vancouvers Island. I had the honor of addressing your Grace on the subject on the 11th ulto: but have not been favored with any communication in reply.
