Sir,
I have the honor to acquaint you that the Lords of the Committee of
Privy Council for Trade having incurred expenses to the extent of
£231..19..4 on account of the Light Houses at Vancouver Island, I have
authorized the Colonial Agents General to pay the amount of this claim
out of any funds
in their hands belonging to your government.
