With reference to my Despatch, Separate, of the
19th April 1861,
enclosing a Warrant for the appointment of
Mr. George Hunter Cary to be
attorney General for the
Island of Vancouver, I have to remind you that
the Stamp duty of Thirty Shillings on
Mr. Cary's Warrant has not yet
been repaid, and to request that you
will will take the earliest opportunity
of obtaining and remitting the sum due, to the Chief Clerk of this
Department.
