I have the honor to transmit a copy of the latest Report from Mr Golledge, Acting Gold Commissioner in the Sooke District.
I also transmit a few photographs representing some part of the gold field which may prove interesting.
The amount received for licences &c up to this time is about 2000 dollars.
There is a steady increase in thequantityManuscript image quantity of gold produced and the miners appear to be content with their prospects.
I beg to enclose a small nugget,
