Sir,
I have the honor to transmit to you a copy of a letter from the Italian Minister at this court relative to the fate of G. Vignola, who, it appears, was living in Victoria Vancouver Island in the year 1861. I have to request that you will cause enquiries to be instituted on the subject, andreportManuscript image report to me the result.
