Sir,
I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you
the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council, of the 5th inst,
leaving to their operation fourteen Acts passed in Vancouver Island in
November & December, 1864, & January March, April, May, June & July
1865, Nos: 109 to 117 & 120 to 124; and I am to request
that you will be pleased to lay the same before the Secretary of
State for the Colonial Department.
