I requested the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade
to give directions for the purchase and transmission to Vancouver Island
of the Stores required for the use of the Lighthouses in the Colony for
which you applied in your despatch No. 105 of the 7th of December last,and
and their Lordships have apprized me that they have been shipped on
board the "Countess of Fife," which ship sails for Victoria on the 24th
instant.
I enclose the Bill of Lading of these Stores.
