I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 40 of the 24th of June, and to inform you that the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty have expressed their entire approval of the arrangements which have been made withColonelManuscript image Colonel Foster with regard to the use and repair of his Pier in Esquimalt Harbour.
